AUN
Erecting vast sound walls streaked in heavenly celestial electronic whiteout, AUN create a distinctive strain of kosmiche rooted shoegazing grind. Exploratory entity for veteran Montreal experimental, electronic musician Martin Dumais (guitar,bass, violin, synths, programming), AUN blossomed into its current duo form with Julie Leblanc (voice, guitar, programming, video) during the 2008 sessions for Alien8 Recordings release ‘Motorsleep’. Constantly evolving, upcoming releases have the addition of vocals and percussion, resulting in a more song based and rhythmically driven direction, while maintaining AUN’s twisted celestial character. With several very highly praised albums for top tier labels, the duo recently completed their second live audio-visual european tour, have performed at the prestigious Mutek, WGT, and FIMAV festivals, and have recently released their most powerful statement yet via German powerhouse Denovali.
